Model Recognition: MAO’s Success with Telemedicine
Published: November 6, 2017
During the first week of November 2017, the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIHub) released a tool kit for rural HIV care and a one-hour webinar about telemedicine. The announcement appeared in the weekly Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) newsletter. An extraction of the announcement can be found below.
MAO’s telemedicine program was mentioned as one of the model programs and, as part of the announcement, a link to the telemedicine tool kit created by MAO’s colleagues at AIDS United, which drew heavily on MAO’s efforts, was provided. THANK YOU RHIHub and the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy! (A transcript of the webinar is available for those who missed it via the links provided.)
