BREAKING BARRIERS 2019
Published: September 18, 2018
THANK YOU to everyone who registered, presented, volunteered, and contributed to the success of the 3rd annual Breaking Barriers Summit. Together, we took time to explore issues related to Health Equity and Social Justice in the Deep South.
Social workers, counselors, and nurses were eligible to earn up to 12.5 contact hours. Watch your e-mail following the Summit for resource and evaluation links. Once all evaluations have been completed, contact hour certificates will be issued to those whose attendance has been verified.
Once approvals have been received, copies of select presentations given at the 3rd annual Breaking Barriers Summit will be available for download here!
A very special THANK YOU to our 2019 Key Note:
Michael Saag, MD, researcher and author of Positive: One Doctor’s Personal Encounters with Death, Life, and the US Healthcare System. (Consider buying through Amazon Smile and selecting Montgomery AIDS Outreach Inc, D.B.A. Medical Advocacy & Outreach (MAO) as your charity of choice. .5% of your order will be donated back to MAO.)
