The Fall 2018 Queen Be Conference will welcome women from across Alabama who share an interest in gaining a deeper understanding of their health; learning about their risks for HIV; getting the latest facts about risk reduction options, such as PrEP; and exploring where issues of sexuality and sexual health fit within the context of family, relationships, and faith.

Objectives:

  1. Women will receive education specific to women’s sexual health and HIV/AIDS
  2. Viable educational strategies will be implemented to assist in the eradication of stigma through a meaningful dialogue in a safe space
  3. An environment conducive for the re-ignition of self-respect and women’s empowerment will be created
  4. Efforts will be made to foster a network of women willing to serve as accountability partners in matters of women’s health

Since this program is being offered at no cost to participants, participants should either plan to bring their own lunch or plan to explore alternatives locally during the designated lunch period.

Advance registration for this program must be made online by midnight on October 31st. When online registration closes, course/event listings will display “Unavailable”. At such a time manual registration may still be possible depending on space.
