Program Liaison (Montgomery)

The Program Liaison will serve as the administrative manager of all professional development programs for MAO staff and outside partners. This will include maintaining appropriate records for accreditation, managing day-to-day communication with education providers and learners, tracking progress toward workplan goals, and enhancing strategic partnerships to bolster our network of allied healthcare professionals. The Program Liaison will work closely with the Professional Development Division Manager to meet the goals of the Alabama AIDS Education & Training Center work plan and report progress to the Southeast AETC.

Minimum Education Undergraduate degree in Education, Public Health, or other relevant discipline

Work Experience Appropriate to the delivery of duties and noted qualifications.

Job Duties

  • Maintain documentation of continuing education activities, as required by accrediting agencies and the Southeast AETC
  • Act as a co-manager of the Alabama AETC workplan in collaboration with the Division Manager of Professional Development
  • Manage MAO professional development training schedule, including submissions to the Southeast AETC event calendar
  • Maintain presenter and learner contact lists
  • Coordinate & respond to any audits or accreditation renewal processes associated with continuing education activities
  • Maintain curricula & provider resource database, addressing gaps in topic coverage
  • Facilitate events associated with the Alabama AETC programs in coordination with Division Manager of Professional Development
  • Act as primary point of contact for event presenters and assist attendees with the registration process

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Education, Public Health, or other relevant discipline
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Adobe programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Ability to work both independently and with a collaborative group
