More than 1.2 million people in the United States are living with HIV, and 1 in 8 people don’t know they have it.

The good news is you can help change this.

Get tested and help spread the word about National HIV Testing Day on June 27.

Organizations, night spots and community groups around the nation will be playing their part to advance us on the path to eliminate HIV and AIDS. With testing, adherence to treatment and support, those living with HIV and AIDS can live and thrive as long as anyone else. Show your support also by being visible when and where ever possible. Stigma and fear of what others will think is the real killer. Show your friends and neighbors that you are proud to be tested for HIV as part of your routine medical care. Take control of your health. Getting tested is empowering!
