Minority AIDS Initiative scholarships are made possible through the Southeast AIDS Education & Training Center (SE AETC) and are offered to practicing and future nurses, physicians, physician’s assistants, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. SE AETC increases the number of health care providers who are educated and motivated to counsel, diagnose, treat, and medically manage people living with HIV and to help prevent behaviors that lead to HIV transmission. The Minority AIDS Initiative aims to increase access to AETC training opportunities for minority individuals and those serving minority populations. Applicants with all levels of HIV experience are encouraged to apply.
