Transgender Day of Remembrance #TDOR2021
Published: November 18, 2021
Each year, on and around November 20th, Medical Advocacy and Outreach (MAO) joins individuals and organizations across the nation in honoring the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR).
TDOR raises public awareness of hate crimes against transgender people, an action that continues not to be discussed in too many communities. TDOR also serves as a day to publicly mourn as a one community and honor the lives of our brothers and sisters who might otherwise be forgotten. Join MAO in memorializing those who’ve died by anti-transgender violence and hate. Join us in seeing people as people.
The following scrolling video was compiled by Metropolitan College of New York to memorialize and document the people whose lives have been lost thus far.
