The goal of this presentation is to learn about trauma; recognize individuals impacted by trauma, and develop strategies to work with individuals presenting to care who have been impacted by trauma.
Medical Advocacy and Outreach (MAO) has been approved by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners as a provider of Continuing Education for social workers, Provider No. 0134. Medical Advocacy & Outreach (MAO) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6882. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. MAO is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This activity has been approved for 1.0 contact hour.
Learners will be emailed a certificate within 10 days following the successful completion of all requirements.
To receive credit
Learners must register online and complete an evaluation, following the event. Learners will be able to print a certificate upon completing these requirements. Partial credit will not be awarded.
