MAO’s Copeland Care Clinic was among the first to offer a holistic approach to care in South Alabama following the identification of HIV/AIDS. Most of the specialty services required to treat your HIV or related life-threatening condition can be found within the MAO service divisions and its community partners.
Each Copeland Care Clinic location boasts a compassionate and experienced team of providers, including doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, phlebotomists and others, all dedicated to working with you to help you achieve an improved quality of life. For our HIV patients, our goal is improved overall health and strict treatment adherence to reach an undetectable status.

*Ask about Alabama e-Healthtelemedicine satellite clinics when calling. Through the use of telemedicine, MAO may be able to reduce travel inconveniences for you. Should actual transportation assistance be required, speak with your MAO social worker, or ask the Front Office attendant when visiting any of the Copeland Care Clinic locations. You may qualify for transportation aid to and from your home and your MAO provider appointments.
