MAO’s definition of wellness has been informed by more than 35 years of experience supporting the lives of people living with life-threatening illnesses. ALL people want and need quality care, social and community supports, respect for who they are or want to be, and consideration of their uniqueness. The MAO Wellness Center provides access to adult primary care, PrEP Treatment and STI/STD testing and treatment for adults.

PRIMARY CARE SERVICES:
Primary care for adult patients
Management of chronic medical conditions
Referrals to specialists as needed
Preventative care including vaccinations and cancer screenings
Management of sexual health including: STI testing/treatment, PrEP, contraception and paps
Gender affirming care and referrals for gender affirming surgeries
A COMMITMENT TO INCLUSION & EQUITY
All Primary Care Team members have and will continue to be trained in culturally competent care for the LGBTQI+ community, offer gender affirming care to transgender and nonbinary patients, and work to create a network of likeminded specialists for patients who need referrals outside of the clinic.
