Minimum Education High School Diploma, or equivalent, or higher degree

Work Experience At least 2 years of work experience closely related to the duties and responsibilities specified for applicants with a High School Diploma only, OR A minimum of of 1 year related experience for applicants with a college degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration or other closely-related program from an accredited university

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain central files for grants and contracts, including proposals, awarded grants, monthly reimbursement submissions and site visits
  • Maintains a calendar of all contracts and grants reporting deadlines to ensure timely submission and follow-up
  • Support Grants Manager with administrative tasks related to compliance, generating grant documents, and mailing grant agreements and grant checks
  • Assists the Contracts and Grants Accounting Manager in relaying timelines and coordination of necessary documentation in order to meet deadlines
  • Prepare grant reports for funders
  • Assemble and submit grant requests for funds
  • Prepare other materials as requested including letters, budgets, and presentations
  •  Coordinates with the Financial Accounting Division to ensure all requests for reimbursements, billed services, or invoices submitted according to contract are recorded
  •  Inventory and purchase office supplies as needed
  • Performs other related duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma plus at least 2 years of work experience closely related to the duties and responsibilities specified, or
  • A college degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration or other closely-related program from an accredited university with a minimum of 1 year related experience
  • Skilled user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of federal, state and/or community funding sources and mechanisms
  • Vaccination preferred
